It seems that any hope Chelsea star John Terry had of making a return to international duty will be short lived, as he is set to be snubbed by England boss Roy Hodgson.

The ageing star has shocked many by revealing that he was planning on making an England return after retiring from duty for his country, but Hodgson believes he has enough central defenders for the forthcoming friendlies against Republic of Ireland and Brazil, so he will leave out the defender.

Terry’s recall could cause unrest to an England squad that is building for the future and there-fore he will just have to continue watching from the comfort of his own home like he has been doing for the last few months, according to the Sun.

Terry has ambitions to make the squad that heads to the 2014 world cup in Brazil and the longer he stays out of the England squad the les chance he has ok making it onto the plane.
