Arsenal have been told to get real in their chase for Real Madrid star Gonzalo Higuain, as the Spanish giants want £30 million for the hitman.
The Gunners are looking for a top-class striker and have been heavily linked with the Madrid striker after news broke that he will be sold in the transfer window.
And after he came out and revealed that the Gunners would be a ‘perfect fit’ boss Arsene Wenger will look to beat off Juventus and land the Argentina international.
However, both clubs cannot agree on a the right fee to pay as Madrid want £30 million and the Gunners will not pay anything more than £20 million, which h could scupper any potential deal.
As quoted on the Sun, he said: He said: “With £25.5m it’s better that they don’t come.
“Let’s see if people ask us for £50m for everyone and we sell one of ours for half that.”
The Gunners have a habit of not buying because they are too cheap, but if they want success then they will have to meet clubs valuations or risk going another year without winning anything.
