Arsenal target and Swansea City star Michel Vorm has ‘welcomed’ rumours that he could be on his way to the Emirates in the summer.

The highly-rated stopper has been heavily linked with a summer switch to the Emirates all season and there is a feeling that he could leave the Welsh side in the summer to replace out-of-favour Wojciech Szczesny.

And while refusing to confirm the rumours, Vorm says they can only reflect well on his performances at the Liberty Stadium.

As quoted on the Metro, he said: “Obviously you never know what can happen in football, but I see myself playing here next season.

“It is all speculation, but in some ways it is positive because it means people look at you as someone who is doing well.”

Vorm is now rated as one of the best stopper in the Premier League and could end the Gunners calls for a top and established goalkeeper.

So it will be interesting to see if he actually makes the move in the summer
